Yeah, this really suxx... Boston is a pretty city (as cities go)...

Lived near there (in Framingham, MA) years ago... Usta watch the Marathon from a bar along the route & run outside when the runners went by... It was a fun New England holiday, & a good excuse to get sh*t-faced (that's Boston-speak for inebriated)...

Now there's always going to be some negativity attached to the event...:angry:

Hopefully, there will be some resolution soon...

We had loads of random bombings over the years but atleast we knew who was doing it and why. We could atleast try to watch the known activists, Irish and more recently Muslims.
It must be strange not knowing why.

even if they catch the person or people that did this, still those innocent people/victims are dead or injured. it is really sad. i wish i could live in the country on a farm with my kids and no tv or internet. just horses, animals, i dont want to know anything that goes on.

The thing is people have lost there lives (including an 8 year old just starting his life) and others badly hurt from a sadistic low life person/people and i would do almost anything to find these styles of SCUM ! I dont mean to be a talker but i will if it helps find people like that.

We sure don't understand the mentality of intentionally killing/hurting innocent people.

Just because guys have a problem with government? That is my assumption in this case and not unlike the OK City federal building bombing back in '95, by Tim McViegh. By the way tomorrow, April 19th, is the anniversary of that event. Also, April 19th is the anniversary date of the Koresh compound (Branch Dividians) taken down by the FBI and ATF, which is what motivated Tim McViegh.

What do these guys think? That the government is going to create or amend an existing law to curtail these killings?

This is not just a Boston or even just a USA event. It's international. In fact one of those killed was a young woman, grad student, from China. The eight year old boy's six year old sister lost a leg and their mother received a traumatic brain injury. They sere there as a family to watch the dad run.

Why? There is no WHY, only who. What possible reason could any rational human being have for doingsuch as this or the school in CT or the movie theater in CO. They are less than human and therefore should not be afforded the rights under the law that are given to society. He, she, they are vermin and should be exterminated. Unbelievably the defense attorney for that creep in CO offered a guilty plea in exchange for dropping the death penalty. WTF

It's really quite simple if you think about it.

There are people that feel entitled, wronged or denegrated.

They are pissed at society and want to hurt society the worst way they can: Killing innocent people (large numbers are better), killing somebody of social importance (Kennedy, Lennon, somebody famous) or children.

Unfortunately in America we, like many countries get constant reminders of this but don't heed the warnings.

We will see what pans out of Boston, but Columbine, Murrah, Aurora 16, Sandy Hook - there were HUGE warning signs before each and every yet the government was inept at reacting.

Obama can sit there and shit his pants over his stupid gun control laws failing, but he fails to see the forest for the trees.

The shooters are nut cases! Loosers as described.

Tim McViegh was pissed at the USG for its handling of the Branch Dividians and the Ruby Ridge shootings in '92. Quietly collecting materials for mass-destruction weapons might not be easy for intel guys to detect and intercept what might happen.
