Definitely the Sportiest-Tourer ever produced! KHI is setting the bar high for everyone...in every category!
Nice write-up here...

I went to the IMS show in Minneapolis last weekend. I was very comfortable on this SE. It was just like my VFR 1200. This bike passed the looks and ergonomics test! Canít wait for a test ride to see if it will find a home in my garage.

Awesome bike, I got to see it in person at the NYC bike show in December but the 22k MSRP will keep it out of my garage. I'd have been all in at 16k or 18k but 20+ puts it beyond my reach. I opted instead for a 2017 ZX14R SE, paid 11200, I'll add risers, peg lowering kit, aftermarket bags, save 8 grand and be happy. I'll wait a couple years and buy a low mileage H2SX and save a few thousand.

Same here... looking it over got the juices flowing , but I already have a Connie and a good running A model...
Another slab bike with hard bags for touring by myself would be appealing though , been riding the 12 for 13 years..

Did some reading and Iím now on the hunt for a Bmw R1200s 😎

Craigslist for Chicago (Evanston) has a yellow R1200s with 12,000 miles on it for sale with the Ohlins, wider rear wheel, etc. for just under $8K.
I have a BMW tank bag for the R1200s if you should be looking for one in the future. I had a mint low mileage R1200s in the past. They are a great bike to ride and very unique/rare.

I was part of the Chicago contingent that attended the DG rallies in the past. The one year I thought you attended with your son??

Yea man I remember you guys
Wasnít there a guy with a brand new zero mile 10r that wouldnt start that year ?

My son is riding a Daytona now and my daughter has joined us as well...

I saw that yellow 1200 but I think I like the candy stripe livery a little better, either way Iím just inner net tire kicking til I get home from this tour ...

I started shopping the 1100 and stumbled across the 1200 , looking for something different... did the 1200 come with hard bags ?

When are you picking up your supercharged bagger ?

Yes that was my buddy who is a Chicago Police Officer. He was not happy that trip.

Nice pictures especially the one of you and your kids.

You could have bags installed on the R1200s but it did not come with them. Have you checked Pelican Parts website for bikes/parts?

I just bought a BMW K1600 GT in August so while I sure would like to have H2 SX it is probably not in my immediate future....but you never know. That type of bike does fit my riding style. I am anxious to see the H2 SX at the upcoming bike show in Chicago.
