llekra I will see if the screen has the make on it somewhere.

The satnav bracket is a custom home-made job.

Welcome and good choice of bike sir.

As GazzaZedHead said, what make of screen is that??? Don't know about double bubble that looks more like a treble bubble or quadruple bubble screen.

I've got a double bubble on mine but the wind blast still hits me in my chest. I can put up with it but would like one a bit taller seeing as I'm 9' 8" tall.

Cheers

Dale

zx12rRider i like the color but all the haters wont admit the candy permission red is the hottest color and the fastest

zx12rRider best brake upgrade is getting 4 pot nissin calipers from a bandit 1200 and a mc from a zx10r, along with braided lines which you have and good pads, loks like you already have upgraded rotors.

llekra I have ordered a baffle for the exhaust so it isn't quite as offensive...

I came up with a solution this eve for the Power Commander with a few old bits and bobs lying around:

Turns out its for a 2004 based on the serial number and the maps I could upload onto it.

Will this make a difference when I come to fit it tomorrow? Mine is a 2003 B2H model and this is for a 2004 B3H according to the website.

Duck00 Nice bike mate!
Now that's the type of muffler I'm interested in, another member has similar in titanium.

As far as the PC3 goes, just connect it up to the bike, then use a laptop with appropriate USB cable to attach to it, turn on ignition and there you go! Don't need a 9V adapter then!

Don.

llekra Thanks for the comments guys.

It has done 20k with good history but no sign of the valve clearances yet so going to have to bite the bullet on that one in the next few thousand miles.

It has just passed its MOT with no dramas. I have been busy the last day or so getting it ready for the season and oil/filter/general servicing etc.

Full titanium Akrapovic system installed with Hexagonal Carbon Titanium can. This weighed in, with R&G hanger, at 4.2kg on the scale which is a massive difference compared to stock which came in at just over 11kg! Very impressed, especially as I basically got it at no cost.

Do need to get the baffle though as it is very loud and I doubt it would pass an MOT without! Anyone got a spare...?

I have removed the decals from the bike as they were a bit aged but it looks pretty good so will keep it this way. Want to get the wheels painted satin black too.

I have sorted out my navigation system as can be seen in the photos below. Bit of vibration at high speed makes the screen hard to read so might look at mounting it somewhere else, although it is nice and shaded due to the screen.

Smaller, but still legal (maybe?) plate fitted.

Black rearsets with carbon fibre heel guards fitted.

Just the Dynojet PC3 to fit now, need to get the 9V adapter to sort out the map on it (eBay buy) if anyone has a spare? Or I will make one up.

Cheers guys. Great site.

Adzed Welcome mate. Midnight blue/gold is the best colour by far. As said above keep hold of the Givi arms and brackets. Almost impossible to get hold of. Took me months of searching.

What Mauser is trying to say, is that he's commiserating with you on buying the very common Black and Brown version which sadly isn't anywhere near as cool or as quick as the rarer colours

Welcome to the nut house

as Yorkie says, come join us on our outing in 2016

Peterrose It does seem to me that the Finnish on these bikes is very good. Like an old 885 Triumph triple I have a while back, looked like it had just come out of the showroom .. Thick paint, thick chrome, good quality plastics etc. My year 2000 one with 40000 miles looks like new.

How many miles has this one done ? Fully service history..including valve SHIMMS ?
