I had a buddy drop one off at dads for me and he's bringing it to Loring. A nice section of 2.5in high flow baffle will be it's new guts.

KZScott Went on the first drive today! Finally got insurance etc. Bike runs well and I'm super happy. Just out on the 263hp "low power" setting. With 19 46 gearing it power wheelies in 2nd gear on command at 7k. Feels like a fairly normal bike under 5k. You would never know it's low cr as it makes a bit of boost down low and then the boost really comes on strong between 6 and 7. it lets you know it's a beast at that point! Need to get some new tires. These ones are over 10 yrs old and I don't feel like taking a corner much faster than a snail on them lol
Update on the aftermarket plastics. Not nearly as nice as oem for fitment. They are a mix of a and b model components. The inners fit like ass. One screw hole is good and the other is off by over an inch. I have some holes drilled and zip ties stitched in to make sure nothing blows apart.
I heated the middle triangle piece and pushed it over the compressor cover of the turbo instead of cutting it for clearance. I like it bubbled out to make it more hidden. I used quite a bit of moose racing heat shield around the hot side of the turbo and exhaust to protect the fairings

KZScott so even though i had zero clutch slip issues on the dyno at 300hp, (ive developed an ear for it tuning bikes that make double that) i decided that 3 unknown hd springs may end up causing me grief down the road. typically a clutch will slip in the higher gears, and we obviously dont dyno in 6th. I got a set of Schnitz hd springs which are supposed to be 80 lbs each. they are just slightly stiffer and longer than my unkown hds that were in it. i decided to run 4 of them and 2 oem. 6 just seems over kill, and i dont need to stress the clutch cable ect more than i need to. Ill take the other 2 to loring just in case, when i try to get my old man into the 200 certified club, but i doubt we'll need them.
fyi the brocks springs are stronger yet, about 95-98lbs depending on stack height.

got a 19 tooth front sprocket installed, which requires clearancing the metal part inside the sprocket cover. easy 200+mph gearing now with the extended rev limit and stock rear sprocket. the lower first gear in the trans will help cancel out that 1 up in the front so its not too bad to pull out from a stop.

relocated the crank case breather into the tail and added a bit of protection against spitting oil. these bikes tend to do that with the oil level high, and i like running extra oil. i used a coarse fuel filter with a stainless element as an extra means of catching and separating oil mist from the case "fumes" with the intention of it self draining back to the motor after a high rpm blast is over with. i have a similar setup on my turbo lsr bike, but it was all hand made. this was quick and easy, just machined the -8 ends to a single hose barb.

next up are tires and connecting the rear turn signal wires. then a safety and insurance.

KZScott I thought that 5 psi was going to feel a bit sluggish so I opted for a larger spring in the gate. Now I have a 9 that makes 263 for normal every day driving and a bleed solenoid set up on the horn button (3 wire toggle switch has the option for horn or boost) for special occasions that adds a few psi and take power up to 304.

I'll attach the power curve this bike made stock motor with a muzzy street pipe so you can see a good comparison against the low compression boosted motor with ported head. Both setups are stock cams and stock cam timing.
