turbo2112 I think that's a misprint I had a 86 1000r that was based on 84 900 motor would interchange .but the z1 and kz I don't think will work unless you want to cut and weld

GPZ900R / ZX900A exhaust question

Hey everyone, I am looking for an exhaust that will fit the first generation GPZ900R's and all the dedicated ones are either out of my price range and/or out of the country!

Now... Mac Exhausts has a catalog that says the KZ900, KZ1000, KZ1100, and the ZX1000 exhausts they offer will all fit our GPZ900R's but it's the only source I've found for this... If this is true, I'm certain I'm not the only one who'd appreciate the confirmation!

I do like their stuff but I'm keeping my options open for (almost) anything, and again, if there's interchange between those models, it would really help search parameters!

Haven't got a single straight answer on this so I'm a little befuddled. Those old KZ's weren't liquid cooled so it'd be a great coincidence if they could be put into different applications!

I've uploaded a screenshot of my source material.
