12r chip on shoulder

Ive heard nothing but sell ur twelve for a fourteen lately.... So i was wondering if you all could enlighten me.... Basic bolt ons and cheap mods done.... What will a 12 and 14 do in the mile?? Basically how much faster is the 14 once you get both bikes set up without big power adders...
