There's been a few 14 motor swaps done into 12s over the yrs but all the ones I saw were hacked/terrible/unsafe or simply wouldn't show the motor mounts (likely due to being more of the same shoddy work)...
Until the other day I saw a post on fb where a guy actually made some decent brackets and made the required frame changes to do a decent job. Welding could be a little nicer but over all finally a decent job. This shows how much work is actually required and why it isn't for the average guy. Could it be done Better? Maybe. I've never looked into it as I've always been happy upgrading what was already there.
These are the pics I saved from the post.

To someone that wants approximately 200 hp with stock reliability and the ability to find a replacement motor of the same caliber easily then yes it could be worth it. To someone that builds high performance engines and turbo systems (like me) not worth it when you can bolt up a 220 hp system to a stock engine.

And if you were inclined to do this much frame work, then why not add a charge cooler in a 12 frame and really open up the hp options?

Well I've done a few intercooled frames and zero 14 motor swaps lol
