Was at the dealer today picking up a part and he told me about a new bike Kawasaki is supposedly coming out with. It is supposed to be a 1650cc sportbike and it won't be available here in the US or Canada. He told me to go look it up at the Tokyo Motor Show. I checked and all I can find is the info from last year. Anybody heard anything about this? Or, is it just wishful thinking? I say wishful thinking but, just imagine the possibilities....

If they came out with that it would have to come to the U.S. markets think of the cash!! But my question is why make a 1650cc bike that will be limited to 180? Thats like having a fine ass woman that you can't even tap into..

being that the U.S. is Kawasaki's biggest market, I find it highly unlikely that KHI would develop a bike of that size and NOT bring it to North America. In Japan, small bikes are almost all there is because of taxes and tariffs and rider restrictions and insurance regulations. Where would that leave the big bike to be sold? Europe??? I dont think that Europe could absorb enough of them to make it profitable for Kawasaki to develop and produce such a monster. Just my 2 cents.

Yamaha released the FJ1300 overseas and it isn't available here.

The last place to get any info on new bikes is at the dealer. They know less than we do.
