180/55 is on...the verdict is.....

WOW....The bike feels 50 lbs lighter. I'm serious.
The softer Pirellis put the Dunslops to shame. There is one road I take to visit Slvr12 and Mark-BuellWang that is very rough, and with the stockers the 12 was nervous feeling and seemed skittish, especially in the curves. The road is crowned badly in places. With the Pirelli 180/55 this road felt fine. It was a 200% improvement. Further tests to be conducted tomorrow, only got to put about 70 miles on them today...

Believe it or not....I'm running a 190/55 and it's better than the 200...but the 180 rocks. (Went from 200 to 180, & had to test the 190, just to be 100% sure.)

Now I'm 110% sure...180's will be on my 12 from here on out. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Sitting in the 95 degree heat all day at the soccer fields ain't much better, at least NOW I get to go ride!

So if a 200 is o.k. and a 190 is better,the 180 is the best then a 350 x 18 must be the ultimate.No, make that two 350x18s mounted side by side.I forgot about the rim width.
