Hey guys, first time poster, I hope I am not breaking any rules. Anyways, my GPZ spun its #2 conrod big end bearing, too much wear for even black bearings to take up the slack. I am not wanting to replace the crank and all the bearings. In this vein, I am wondering if I can use a 1986 Ninja zx1000 bottom end https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-kawas...transmission/263692954151?hash=item3d65532a27 with my GPZ 1100 pistons, jugs, head and carbs. The zx1100 engine is hard to find, pricey, and the GPZ head is different from the normal ZX1100 making the task even harder. Is there a better option? I am not adverse to putting an engine together with the exception of crank bearings.
Or, should I just scrap/part out the bike? The bike is a 7-8 out of 10 and has new brakes and tires. I loved it when it ran.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I am in the US east coast.
