Well if the website says it does then buy 1.....or read up first....
GIPRO-K04
ZX-12R (2000-2006)
Note: The ZX12R ECU does not take advantage of a TRE therefore the GIPRO
K04 is a gear indicator only (no built-in ATRE) giving instant and accurate
readings. (For top speed de-restriction a SpeedoHealer is needed)

maybe this is a stupid question......but that never stopped me before:crazyloco:

I have a rapid bike module ( similar to a power commander) and the bike is tuned properly.

If i send in my ecu to someone to de-limit & make timing changes & whatever else might be done does that mess up my tuning? Will I need to go back on the dyno & have it re-tuned?

Maybe I'm asking a daft question here, but are the restricted models only restricted on top speed or is the power/acceleration also affected?
