You may not want to quote me on this, but I SWEAR that I read that the 02 12R was using a 525 chain! Sounds odd, doesn't it? It's not something I'd mention unless I really thought it was true. (wonder if it was the Busa?)

Rickey what rpms are you staging at? I am going through the traps at 139 mph. I am 4000 rpms, my best 60 ft is 1.66 witch was a 10.03 run. the bike is lowered, straped, 16/44 with K & N's. The rest is stock except for the cat is removed, tire presure was at 12 pounds. Bye the way my time is the fastest a non piped bike has ever gone in Hawaii.

Fastestr1:

What is your 330ft's, they need to be in the 4.1's or low 4.2's to run good 1/4 mile no.

12 pounds in the rear tire is about 25 pounds to little.

What is your weight also?

Awesome runs Rickey, and super consistent.

I can barely afford the 12 I have, now I want a 2002 as well.

Thanks for the great numbers.

The track is so low speed you don't get the 330ft times. I am 170 without a suit. Going to the track tonight with 38 lbs of air in the rear. What is the lowest I should go if the track is slick? I have the rebound and damping on the softest setting. The only time the track is treated with VHT is on big race night's. I guess for $6 to watch and or race what can you expect. With the 10.03 I set the track record for a non piped stock bike. 10.27 was the fastest before that. The fastest street bike is running 9.55 (1270 kit). Help is needed
