Managed to secure the last unit from dealer. ETA is May - June. Not sure what to expect but will put it through daily duties. I was about to get the 2022 H2 SX when a phone call landed me to a dealer that has the H2 so changed my mind. I hope I will not regret going for the H2 instead.

Depending on what your preferred riding style is. It's not quite ZX10R position, but still sporty.
Heavier than a sport bike, but very responsive.
Once you do the usual mods (exhaust/tuning) it utilises the power available.
Build quality is excellent and unique.
What is your usual type of bike?

Don.

Good bike the Beemer.

I don't know how the 2022 H2 will be tuned from stock for down low riding, eg; 50 kmh etc but my 2015 needed smoothing out at around the 2k to 3k rpm range, just where street riding in town would be.

Check out NinjaH2.org, not as much activity as there was a couple of years ago, but all the good info is still on there regarding tuning etc.

The 22 SX's engine is very smooth. I have not had a liter bike feeling so smooth on idle and under load. No lumpiness and power delivery is intoxicating with the supercharger chirping. The technology is so good on a bike. Radar cruise control and BSM worked flawlessly and riding position is so comfy. I was tossing up between the H2 and the SX before settling with the H2. If I cruise long distances the SX will be top on my list. Enjoy your new ride..

I have a 2022 H2 SX SE - perhaps the first to land in Canada and the regional sales manager had never seen one. After a few rides, it is beginning to 'shrink' and ride like a smaller nimble 650 rather than a supercharged 1000. I am 5' 8" so I had the lowering kit, one inch soles on my boots, half inch heel lifts in my boots and a lower seat - now I can plant both feet on the ground. Amazing bike !!

Now I understand why the delivery took so long. The build date was August 2022. I would have expected the build date to be in the first half of the year. Anyway, just glad I got one this year.

Yes, I hope it's worth the wait. Now I'll have to go through the daunting task of running it in easy in the first 1k. I am especially concerned when it's not supposed to go over 4k rpm in the first few hundred kms...

Honestly, don't sweat too much going over the rev limit while running in. I won't go into pros and cons of disregarding the factory run in period, or it will turn this thread into an epic to and fro!

If you stick relatively close to the run in protocol as directed by Kawasaki then you shouldn't cause any issues.

Managed to get a first ride when the storm took a break. Really difficult to stay below 4k. First impression when I put my leg over it, ergonomics identical to the RR. Definitely got lots of attention on the road. Suspension was much nicer than the RR but fuelling not as good although no surging or hunting at low speed. QS, brakes and mirrors worked really well. Paint work one of a kind. Loved the sound when the impeller spooled up. Cannot wait to have it properly run-in and serviced at 1k..
