I run 17-50, and i am making around 300 hp. my bike is only extended 6 inches, and i am wondering if i should be running 17-46, to cut down on shifting and wheelies and wheelspin, and improve the mph. I run 154-157 mph every pass, i want to break 160. i am just shifting into 6th at the finish line with 17-50.

all opinions appreciated. :D

Are you running a multi-stage lockup clutch system??? How is your suspension setup??? Minor adjustments will possibly solve your problems 8) 8) 8) . Just my .2 cents worth. I impressed with your MPH's :D :D :D . Sh__t!!! wish BIGG12 was doing like that. The best mph BIGG12s' ran in 1/8 miles is 118mph shifting in 3rd at the lights with 17/46 gearing, going up 2t on the rear as some as sprocket and longer chain arrive. I'm also 6 over with 206rwhp :D :D :D . Hope you fix your problem Dude 8) 8) 8) .

you are losing at least 2mph with that shift, go down one tooth on the back to see what it does. might have to add a few pounds of static on the clutch to make it act the same on the line.I am running 16/48, top of 5th in the 1/4, top of 4th at 1000 ft.

something's not right. with that kind of hp you should be in the high 160's even 170. i've got a stock motor, muzzy pipe, pcIII, my dry shot set up 16/50 gears. never been to a dyno but if i had to guess i would say around 220 to 230hp. i run 9.20's at 148 and i weigh 250lbs. if you are making 60 to 70 more hp than i am you should get more than 6 or 8 mph. my 2 cents.

I ran 124 in the 1/8 with Brocks sidewinder, 6 over, street legal, no pc, stock motor with the baffle in this weekend.

Chan, you gotta get one of these, they are freakin awesome.
