take off the windscreen (be carefull of the little prongs on the inside dash cover), and stick a little foam padding down between the two headlights.

Other than that, no problems.

1300 miles, changed my own oil at 600 (actually it was about 750 until i got back from a trip)

haven't seen another one on the road besides mine.

I second the "Rattle" issue. I took it back to the dealer twice to get it fixed, result was my speedo cable fell off after I picked it up from them. I pulled it apart myself and used doble stick foam tape between fairing and shield. The bike does have some good vibrations, buzzy motor. You will get used to it and it is well worth the tingle in the fingers after a long ride. I am still not sure if the tingle is from the vibrations or holding on too tight when passing ! ENJOY !!

If you take the time to sync your carbs the ZZR is pretty smooth. You won't need to buy bar snake, mine is the smoothest in line four I have owned to date.
