First off, I'm 40 with a fused spine, so my 2002 will be fast enough. I do want to get rid of that huge can. Can anyone recommend a quiet slip-on that does not require injection recalibration? Thanks

I've heard it said that Yoshimura make both the quietest full exhaust systems and canister-only setups for the ZX-12R.

Tried an Art Anodised on my A-2.

Sounded awesome but took it off 'cause it didn't work.

It slugged the Mid-range in top and I found myself changing-down at times where normally I would just roll-on the throttle at she'd fly.

Several reliable contacts have told me that End-Cans don't work on the 12 and Micron, who did make one, have discontinued it.

I am saving-up for an Acropovic or Muzzy full system.

I don't fancy chopping-out the Cat or drilling out the Can in case she fails our silly M.O.T. Laws.

Standard Can keeps my neighbours happy though, so it's not all bad!

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BUY A TWO BROTHERS SLIPON.THE CLAMP SUPPLIED IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH AND KEEPS BREAKING.RICKYZX12 ALSO HAS THE SAME PIPE AND HIS BRACKET BROKE ALSO.IN ALL WE WENT THROUGH 7 CLAMPS.WE FINALLY MADE OUR OWN OUT OF 16GUAGE STAINLESS.WE HAVE KNOW PROBLEMS NOW.

with it is the sound. It's nice and deep. The clamp won't break.

I just put a D&D on my '02 and I can honestly say that It is without a doubt the best sounding pipe, full system or slip on I've ever heard and I've heard a lot. Fit is excellent and it looks great against the red color. I got the black satin. Do yourself a favor if you are getting a slip on get the D&D.

I think the Yosh would be the quietest, as for injuries. 38 years old, 17 1/2 years in the ARMY and have DJD in left knee, bone spur, bursidis and inpingment in right shoulder and 3 bulging disks along with a compression fractur with 25% bone loss in t11 with root nerve touching L1- L5. So why slow down now i want all the power I can get with bolt ons!

Put one knee down for the curves and both knees down for GOD!</p>
