have one on my bike,its been there from new,i now have 4000 thousend miles on the clock an my chain still needs no adjustment.thats not just my opinion,its just had its 4000 service. i ran bike in as per instructions but have riden it pretty hard for the last 2000.
the oiler it self does need adjustment itself depending on the season in the summer your supposed to set it to drip oil one drip per 50 seconds ,ifound this to much ,to much oil fling on to bike, an as i like most of us spend long hour's polishing ,this was not acceptable,so i slowed it down to one drip every 2 minuets.this seems fine .how ever in the winter i speed it back up to 1 min one drip.mine is fitted under seat,but was told it had to be removed an refitted when my under tray was fitted,so if you are considering haveing one fitted keep that in mind
