I GOT MY 12R AT THE END OF JULY AND HAVE SINCE PUT ON 2900 MILES... BROKE IT IN PROPERLY AND TOOK MY TIME. I RIDE HARD BUT DONT BEAT IT UP, NO WHEELIES, BUT LIKE TO LAY IT DOWN IN THE TURNS.. THIS IS MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!



SINCE ABOUT 1900-2000 MILES, I HAVE A ANNOYING VIBRATION GOING FROM THE PEGS, TO THE SEAT, TANK, TANK COVER, AND HANDLEBARS AND REAR SEAT....IT IS SO BAD SOMETIMES, MY ASS GETS NUMB.. IT HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER 2X, AND IS THERE NOW....AND KAWASAKI WARRANTY IS NOT ADMITTING ANYTHING IS WRONG....

Sounds like a loose nut holding onto the handle bars...







just kidding, I had something like that but before I got it to the dealer , it stopped and hasn't come back. It was usually around 3-5k rpm's

Go over all the nuts and bolts yourself and tighten them up!!!



The 12 does vibrate alot...You will get use to it...

mine's an A1 and I weigh about 104 Kg (1m96 height), from personal experience having travelled 820 km in a day recently (in the heat of Southern Spain), there is a slight vibration being transmitted through the seat, I believe its on account of the seat resting on the tank, that and the fact that the seat is crap!!!.

Yes, you're right, you ass goes numb, as well as your balls and your knob!!!!

I have to get me a Corbin seat!!

Hi, I think it is a common item with the 12, mine does it too now and again, it also sometimes amplifies the road noise to the point of distraction, then it goes away. Reckon it has a life of it's own! (Christine?).

Must admit I've never ridden it that far that everything goes numb! Makes the mind boggle!!

Does the fuel load make any difference if you think it is the tank?

Sounds like the Corbin is essential! 24 hr delivery? or are you starting to enjoy it? 200MPH vibrator! Hee! Hee! Sorry.
