Well here it is..... after 3 months of building/waiting on parts/spending everydime its finally done. Paid 5,000 to the door... dropped 1,950 on it and this is what i came up with. That price includes these aftermarket parts. Full Muzzy stainless with Oval carbon can, Muzzy cooling fan, K&N air filters, Yellow guages, Kevlar front and rear brake lines, Carbon Ram air covers, Carbon side engine covers, Carbon Hugger, Turnsignal integrator, Carbon LP Flushmounts, and a header wrap. I remember there was quite a few people who said i would have to dump 3-5k into it to get it new..... About broke my heart to see the busted up pics of the old ride but man..you sure did I nice job on the put back. Looks awesome, welcome back. Gone for a maiden voyage yet with the new yellow ride? Should turn some heads.

Maybe Blitz should put this in the files for future reference.

Thanks for all the compliments...... I figured either people would like it or they wouldn't, not much room for a middle ground on an all yellow bike. My favorite part is the mirrors, It makes them stand out more. I haven't decide what stickers to put on yet. Def. a black ninja sticker on the tail and then probably Kawasaki on the tank. but i haven't decided what 12r stickers to put on yet.

First ride was this morning on the way to work. I swear its faster now that its one color Then i had to turn around and run back home real quick so i had 130mi on it before noon I think it will def. stand out like a sore thumb. I will take some daytime pics. It turned out better than i thought it would.

Clutch and gen covers are from LP for about 59 bucks a piece. They are a cheap way to cover rash. The Gen cover looks real good but the clutch cover looks kinda cheap.

I didn't even feel the need to wheelie on the way to work this morning. Now that it looks good i have nothing to prove

I really like it Beau. I must admit I was one of the skeptics at the beginning because I have seen alot of guys who start a project like this and 2 years later its still sitting in the back shed looking like it did after all the plastic was removed.

You certainly didn't screw around with this project.

The "after" pictures above are pretty grainy compared to the ones you posted last week. Different camera or lack of light?

Any chance of getting some good, clear outside photos that really show the quality and color of the paint added to this post?

Then we'll let it float here for a while and then save it to the archives...

Great job. - Blitz

yeah it was 10:30pm and dark and my garage is poorly lit. I will try to get a couple better pics up. I am using a digital camcorder but it takes stills too, but not the highest quality as you can see. Thanks for the compliments. I would have even been done sooner had I not ran into money problems I am just glad to be done. it seems like i have had the bike for 2 years

I like it! Looks WAAAAYYYYYYY better than green! Can't say that I like the mirrors painted yellow, though. But, hey.... that's just my opinion and everybody's entitled, right?

It's a credit to you - as previously stated, alot of guys are the "gunna do this tomorrow" variety. You definitely are a "DOER" now. WELL DONE.
