Went to work early, the crisp morning air at 140. Later someone tells me the guards at work are looking at my bike. Someone on an Honda ST1100 drops there bike puting it on the center stand and it fell over on my 2001. Cracking the left side and then pushing the bike over onto the right side. I am still in shock. In his defense, he did go out of his way to find me and personally tell me the bad news. Left and right fairing cracked, front frairing and double bubble cracked, right mirror gone and the metal bracket that hold mirrors under fairing bent. Clutch cover scrapped, brake lever bent....I want to cry....... The bike was just in a show and looking good....

Sorry about your bike.
Seeing how it was another ride and he was nice enough to come looking for you I am sure everything will turn out allright.
Good luck, (j.i.c.)

Did he then go out of his way to pay for the damages??

Sounds like just an accident to me, and a stand up rider to track you down and make it right. I wish there were more honest people like him, instead of how a lot of people who damage something and try to slip away hoping no one sees them. Sorry that happended to your bike, but think how you would feel to come out and just find it on its side and no one around.

Bummer man...been there myself. Sucks when the bike gets hurt but
sucks even more when someone else does it for you.
Hope it gets fixed up quickly.
