I just bought a brand new 2014 kx85 for my kids and have been breaking it in by the manual. I did the idle until warm then cool off. Ride for 10 min then let cool, ride for 20 min when it bogged down and died. I let warm up before each time as well. Shop mixed the gas 32:1 as sticker says. Not going more then half throttle as I was told. Plug keeps getting wet when I try to start it and won't really spark. Could this just be a fouled plug? It's only been driven for a total of 25 minutes.

2 strokes will foul plugs if they're not run hot enough.
If you're pootling about running it in, it is likely to do this. Those little competition engines are intended to have the nuts thrashed off them and they are bloody quick when they get going.
Have a look at the plug code if it's a 9 try an 8 or move down a number from whatever it is. It should help with the fouling if it's not being run hard enough to reach the temp for that plug.

My 250 enduro bike used to bog on the throttle and after a bit it would die and refuse to start. I just wasn't riding it hard enough for the plug. Went from 9 to an 8 and happily rode like a big girl without issue. 2 stroke comp bikes never really idle well, best thing to do is fire it up, get it running with a few throttle blips and warm it up as you ride it. Chances are your kid won't harm it any unless he's talented and fearless as those things are fast!

Hey Man I am having the same problem as you are with my son's new bike. Spark plug soaking wet, replaced with a new one still didnt fix the problem. I was wondering if you were ever able to come up with a solution to your problem.

Dude. It's a brand new bike. Take it back to the dealer tomorrow.

You shouldn't be sweating over crap like this with a brand new bike whatever the cause. ;-)
