I have installed a Brembo RCS Master Cylinder. When I pull the brake lever, it touches the throttle cable case before its full stroke. I have rolled the MC forward and down, and I have rolled the throttle cable case backward, but it has a limited range of movement. See my pics for the interference.

Can anyone recommend some positioning remedy? Currently, there is no fluid, so perhaps there will be less travel when the system is full and bled. I would like full lever travel though.

The gold one I installed is a Pazoma replacement for the Brembo OEM lever. While it is shorter, the length is shortened at the end, beyond the feature hitting the throttle cable case. That bend is the same between the black Brembo lever and this Pazoma gold one. So it wouldn't improve.

I saw another lister, @wylde, actually got his throttle cable case to rotate far enough forward that it was below his lever. Not sure how this is possible?

Hey! Thanks for remembering! It turned out that Kawasaki is not manufacturing the 04-05 forks any longer. Partzilla may never had told me, and may have kept my money for a long time. I called and confirmed Kawasaki has them marked as "Unavailable". Another vendor said their records are updated daily, and the part numbers hadn't been cleared out of the database or marked unavailable/discontinued. Never mind though, I couldn't wait forever. I canceled the order and got my refund.

Meanwhile, I talked to Traxxion Dynamics and got them to agree to removing the inner fork tubes from the bent set I sent them. They said this is difficult, but they can do it. Other shops online say they also do it, so I was surprised I had to push a little. Then, I sent them my '02 original forks. They're going to disassemble them and send the silver outer tubes to be gold anodized, 04-05 style. I ordered Tarozzi inner tubes (Italy) from a vendor in the UK, Brook Suspension. They gave me a 21 day lead time. That comes up at the end of next week. They'll be sending them to Traxxion, then Traxxion is going to put it all together.

It sounds like a crazy plan. I've been waiting 11 weeks for wheels from Marchesini, through an Italian vendor, so if Tarozzi comes through on their 21 day lead time, my faith will be renewed in the Italians. I really really want to go on my planned Memorial Day trip to West Virginia. Traxxion says if they get the tubes from Brook around the 2nd week of May, they'll get me my completed forks on time.

So, sorry for the long version, but I am going with Brembo M4's. I actually already bought them, back in March. They've been on my garage floor waiting for the forks saga to wrap up. I got 70mm caliper bolts, and a set of both 8mm and 10mm spacers to try (ebay, from Taiwan). I'll be swapping over my 320mm rotors onto the Marchesini wheels, if I get them. Otherwise, I'm going to ride an orange bike with clashing blue wheels for a few weeks, waiting for Marchesini to decide whether they want to keep my money or not.

Not easy being a ZX12R owner sometimes.

I know what you mean I am toying with buying the m4 brakes, but have been a little distract on a quest to get the bike derestricted, but I have done it. I now need to get an akrapovic full system.

@Factory,

Good news today, my Tarozzi fork tubes are shipping from the UK to Traxxion Dynamics today, arriving Friday.
So, that is one hurdle overcome!

Good luck getting an Akra pipe. They're so hard to find. I don't know what your spend limit is, but my
new Arata looks amazing, and I think you can find other full systems available on Web!ke, the Japanese
vendor.

I'm just trying not to think about the money I've spent. I guess I will postpone more necessary things like
a new roof and 4-wheel vehicle.

quino is the lever is coming all the way back to the grip it isnt bleed all the way or yu have a caliper hanging up. i had this same issue on mine, i currently run a 2012 zx10r mc steel braided lines, nissin 4 pot calipers, ebc prolite rotors and ebc pads, after winter maintanance of playing with calipers and cleaning them and lubing the pistons as they push out and re-bleeding the system i barely have to pull on brake level and cannot squeeze it back to the bar

@zx12rRider,

Thank you for the comment. However, at this time, I have no fluid in the system. I was concerned that the lever has more travel available in the piston,
but the lever is hitting the throttle cable case. I wanted to see the full range of travel. Now of course, I may discover, once I add fluid and bleed the
lines, that I will not need much lever travel at all. Still, I thought it would be better if the full cylinder's piston stroke was available.

Other Brembo RCS owners have had problems too, but on different bikes. I was hoping to hear from a 12 rider with this MC who had a solution
for gaining more lever travel. Again, before fluid is added and the brakes are bled.

Thanks
