I need to replace motorcycle tires.
My friend told me a way to save substantial money, just as title said.
Does anyone have experience with purchasing tires online and then having them installed locally?
I contacted a mechanic in my local repair shop and the labor cost to install two tires is $100.
My budget : the motorcycle tire cost is no more than $200.

Whatever deal you find online, check with your mechanic/shop before you buy to see if they can offer a better deal. Quite often, shops charge more to install items not purchased through them. The local shop may have a discounted rate they receive which can be passed on to you, as well as discount their labor to meet online prices which can sometimes beat the straight online purchase/local install combo.
