On powercommander.com they have several maps made up for different pipe combinations, and several for the California model. My question is, what is different about this model?
Is it just the emmisions or what???

I live in Florida, but my 2000 is a Cali model and I've often wondered what the differences were between it and the 49 state version. Mine is bone stock, and I've run it against a few other 12's around here and it doesnt seem to be down on power or anything like that. I was just assuming that the cali models have stricter evaporative cannisters in their fuel tank venting systems.

I believe in 01 they made them all the same except for the cali model has that evaporative emmission control system under the back seat/tail section.
my o1 has the fuel seperator where the 00 does not.so the 00 (non-cali) does not have the seperator or the emmission control.where the (non-cali) 01 only has the seperator.
