Before I decide to replace the guide, does the swingarm pivot shaft have to be messed with. Can it be replaced by just removing sprocket cover ect.

I see that there's a oem type for 48 bucks but is there any other companies that offer them. Also semi stick on one's work with using the snap hole in the top of the arm.

Its not that hard to drop the swing arm down :)
You can even leave the wheel on .
Just support bike from above by the rear footrests.
I use an engine crane, but a beam is just as good with a winch.
Leave back wheel touching floor to support weight , remove bolt and lift bike up / drop arm down . Loosen rear wheel and slacken chain and drop off the rear sprocket first and of course remove the lower fairing..Thats the easy way. The arms a lot easier with the wheel off :) but dont you just hate refitting the back wheel on? I do!
Good luck :)
