Thanks for the compliment and suggestion.

Under your post name you should see a little reply, edit, del all

You can click on "edit" and make your changes.

Let me know if that works out, I hope it isn't a function limited to the forum owner.

Thanks,

Easyrider

Maybe that's my problem.... I don't see it.

Got it now..... I get it. It doesn't work when I am posting from work (where I do most of my posting) because that is not where my cookies are. If I login at work, rather than responding to each post individually, will I have the option displayed for me there as well?

First of all, I would like to say that this forum is by far the largest source of 12R information on the web. A similar page was available for the RC51, but was not nearly as extensive. Having what seems to be endless links to after market parts, accessories, upgrades, and even forum conversations regarding the like, makes this page an invaluable source of information. I have searched these pages for a couple weeks now, and feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of what's here. The only problem that I have encountered so far is that my wallet is just not big enough for all the things I want now.

Now for my suggestion:

When entering posts I sometimes forget to add certain, comments, flames or advice. This forces me to open another reply to add to my previous post. Would it be possible to have an "edit" button next to the "reply" link in the avatar area? This would allow users to go back into the already posted message and correct any spelling mistakes (if that's important to them), or add additional content without running another post. In order to edit the message, the author's password and login name would be required, so that no other users could make unwanted changes.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yep, as soon as you login from the main page you will have a permanent cookie. I access the forum from a number of machines to try and keep up with everything and I haven't logged in for months.
