Tenn12...can't find your email, so posting to get this to ya.

Would you mind running that BB and silicone thing by me one more time. I'm having a real tuff time visualizing getting anything between my Helibar and that grip. The idea of being able to stuff BB's in there "and" silicone puts me right into overload....

Is it a joke ? If not, how'd ya do it again pls ?

BTW I'll be coming to Tenn this summer to visit my Mom, if all goes well with my prep and conditioning.

Just take off your bar end's and sqeeze a little 100% clear silicone into

the hole. Then start pushing in the BB's. As it get's full the silicone will

start to sqeeze out, just wipe it off and keep going. Just make sure to

leave enough room for your bar end bolt to fit back in. I did this on both

side's and it made a noticeable difference. If you wanted to go one step

further, I'd bet you could take off your bar's and fill them. I would, but

since the Throttlemeister install I'm happy.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"> Good Luck

Where in Tenn. does your mother live?

Are you talking about putting ball bearings held by silicon inside the handlebars to make them heavier to cut vibration?

Patrick,

BB's are what the Americans refer to as the lead shot from air rifles, ie air rifle pellets, not ball bearings. Yes it will cut done on vibration from the handle bars.

Cheers.

Tenn, If its alright with you, I was going to change the subject of this to "Cutting handlebar vibration" and save it to the archives before it rolls off, unless you have a subject you'd prefer?

Thanks.
