Bought a new 2O22 14r in March and just recently changed out the stock exhaust to the 13 inch Delkevic stainless tri-oval slip-on exhaust. But after getting the old pipes off, they look to be really bent up and damaged. The bike had 3 miles on it and wasn't even at the dealership when I put the deposit down. Not sure what to make of this.....would Kawasaki really install damaged parts onto a BRAND NEW bike?? Outerwear Textile Sleeve Grey Wood

That's crappy!

Could have happened in transit to the shop, or during installation, but still should have been picked up when detailing the bike before you took it. Have you let the shop know?

Yeah pretty frustrating......underside of the bike is perfect, no damage whatsoever. So my theory is that they were put on that way at the factory. I'll be taking the pipes into the dealership this week, and with the bike still under warranty, hopefully they order me a new set!!

Kawasaki beat the hell out of those pipes for clearances.
My 2012 was the same way. I couldn’t believe it either.

I know this is an older thread but here goes. I recently received a new 2022 ZX 14 myself . It was shipped to me in Texas from Minnesota. Funny thing is I was already planning to swap out the factory bazookas with a set of Yoshi's, which I already had standing by before I received the bike. Well, lo and behold when I pulled the factory cannons off, exact same scenario. Both had bent up mid pipes just like the photos. When I say just like the photos, I mean just exactly like the photos as if those photos were taken by me of my pipes. I wrote it off to the shippers not knowing how to tie down the bike during shipment, but now I'm not sure what to think as I never actually witnessed the shipper un-securing the pallet that the bike was shipped on. After a thorough under bike inspection I didn't notice anything else out of order nor did it appear that the rest of the exhaust upstream was damaged in any way. The whole thing seems very bizarre indeed.
