Well, the DOW didn't come pick up Bambie after her DenverYZF encounter, so boys, I took things into my own hands....

After clearing away all the flies, and skinned her sorry ass right on the side of Delbert Road, and as we speak I am having a custom doe skin Corbin seat, Doe skin jacket, and doe skin pants made for DenverYZF.

I figure if you can't beat 'em, skin their ass and make apparel out of them.

Hell of an idea, and I thought about it, too.

But.... I decided against it because the last thing I want is Denver getting chased down Delbert road with a 400 lbs mule deer bull trying to hump the back of his bike.

Having lived in deer country, you know that those things can run and screw at the same time.

Besides, I just don't think the "fur look" would suit Denver. He's more of a "indoor/outdoor grass, V-8 engine block in the front yard is lawn art" kind of guy. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

Not sure when I'll be riding again, I'm in no hurry since the snow will be flying soon. I plan on doing some "improvement projects" while the bike is apart.
I have been aquiring parts on e-bay already.........the little blue beast will be better than new when I'm done!

It's hotter than balls and I am looking forward to november when the temps drop enough to make wearing leathers a comfortable proposition. The best riding around here occurs in december/january when its in the 40's

You should see Denvers garage.

It looks like Dr. Frankensteins laboratory.

He even has the 600 sitting on a gurney that raises through a hole in the ceiling. We are just waiting for the lightening storms to bring it back to life...

He has become quite reclusive lately, and will not allow anyone into the garage.

The other night, he called me at midnight and asked me to acompany him to the Yamaha junkyard out in Erie.

Why he keeps calling me Igor, I have no idea.
