Price I'm willing to pay would correspond to the condition, of course. This would only be a pit bike, so I want to keep the initial cost low, and I'll do the work to get things right.

What I really want to do is buy a repli-racer, but the youngest is going to be riding it, so I'll be more practical and find something that can be dumped w/o me getting worried.

What does your friend have? (make, model, etc..)

I haven't talked to him yet but I thought of another one that would be cool to own. Don't know how bad you would want to lay it down, if I am correct it is the only one in the U.S. It is a ZX-.5R a little mini bike that has an 80cc engine I think....it is pretty cool. I have to go to scottsbluff tomorrow so I will take some pics of it.
