The King's setup works AWESOME on my 12 and was wondering if the same/similar setup will work on the wife's 929? She's getting into drag racing and I'm doing research for the future if she sticks with it.

The kit works well on the 929 also .028 jet is good for 30 hp makes the bike come alive, there is a small adapter to mount the nozzle in the plastic airbox cheap I have some if you are interested.

Glad you are liking the nitrous on the 12 fastestr1 and justoyz have the same setup and rule the island from what I hear from them bahahaha.

Thanks for the info King. She'll be happy to hear that if she stays with it. Just have to find her some extensions now. Gixx1300R says the bike isn't made for his.

fastestr1, justoyz & the guys at RevTek have been helping me out quite a bit trying to get me up to speed and help the class out. I'm taking my bike down there to get a custom map so I don't go lean. Worried sick about that.

Have a .034 first stage and a .038 second stage, may go bigger. Trying to reach that 250hp mark. Ordering the Muzzy billet hub today and will retard the timing 2 deg from 6,000 to redline. Do you recommend any other mods?

Thanks again.

I spoke to steven last night, turkey called at 2 am but I was kind of up anyway (had to answer the phone) I would not go any bigger jets then that without a secondary fuel supply.

If you get a fogger nozzle and change the second stage from dry to fogger then you can add a shot of fuel to the equasion check the plugs steve can help you out 250 is about as far as you can go safetly on the stock pistons and rods.

Have fun let me know if you need anything.

Thanks for the quick response and recommendations...I'll give Steven a hard time about that late call. If he xfers up north I'll be sure and give him a call before I go to bed over here. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">

Still toying w/the idea of a turbo or Muzzy billet block. For now I have to get better w/what I have before thinking of changing anything else.

That's ok I think I woke him up once too. Be careful with Muzzy excellent product but there always seems to be more stuff needed than what they tell you.

I have heard from a couple guys after they bought a kit that they needed the new fuel pump or the new computer to work with their stuff nothing bad to say about them just make suree you deal with Doug Meyers he seems to be the best guy to get you on your way.

Tell him I sent you and he might give you a discount.

I installed our Dry Kit on a 929 around a month ago. Let me tell oyu it hauled the mail!!!! I installed 34 n2o jet and made sure i adjusted the fuel with the power commander. To date that bike by far has been the mostimpressive with justa dry shot. The guy picked up 1.5 teths in the 1/8 track last weekend. Runs a 6.21 on the gas.

I firts started experimenting with the dry kits back in 1998. I put a sneaky pete sytem for a car on a new EFI SRAD 750. needless to say I did not have a Power commander at the time and ended up hurting the motor after 2 weeks of spraying,. It did however RUN like A BAT OUT OF HELL!!!!
It is not new technolgy--just refined now.

I didn't mean anything by it Doug when i offered it to muzzy and shnitz as an exchange for some sponsor help they both said they would never go that route. I had played with it a couple years before the 2000 world finals and had it on my 2000 zx12 at the event with dyno info and all. I realize it has been around forever sorry if you missunderstood what I was trying to get across. Are you going to Gainsville in November?

Doug,
what other mods have been done to that 929? Sounds like that bike scoots! The wife may go this weekend, I'm trying to get her comfortable that the front won't lift uncontrolably. She's worried about flipping over. I can't find much support for draging her bike and any suppliers you know of that can help me/her out would be much appreciated.

King,

Oh no I did not take it the wrong way. I am fully aware of the ordeal you went through. It happens alot in this industry. I feel for you.We had the same thing happen. SEEMS like there is another ZX12r adjustable triple tree on the market....(I now keep my mouth SHUT! about ideals)

Yes I am planning to go to g-ville.

as for the 929......

it has a trac dynamics arm and one of our Co2 airshifter kits. the air shifter REALLY made a huge difference.other than that it is just geared.

Thnaks
