MDW-

That "nickel" carbon fiber Micron looks good in that pic!! How does it do on the dyno?

Well... I'm not looking to make enemies here (really, I'm NOT!!), but I've just gotta say that all the flange-on (slip-on or whatever you want to call them) mufflers look like crap on the 12R. There ARE bikes that flange-on/slip-on mufflers look good on, but the 12R isn't one of them!! To me they all look like cheap, poorly fitted add-ons. They all retain the ugly heat shield on the mid-pipe, they all go into a large diameter (stock) flange area and it looks like all of them do indeed go to a smaller muffler - whether it be round or oval. Many of them (like the Two Brothers that I've seen pictured) also have some kind of make-shift looking adapter mount to go from the passenger footpeg bracket to the muffler and (in the pics) it looks like the exhaust exit is hanging off the back of the bike (back behind the plastic fender?).

Hey, everyone can buy whatever they like - but after spending "the big bucks" for a 12R why would anyone settle for a cheap add-on muffler?? It just doesn't make much sense to me.

Please don't hate me!!! I'm only a messenger boy. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
