Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of their ZX-11's with single exhuast? I'm thinking about putting one on my 2000 but would like to see how it looks with just one pipe.

Also, what's the sound difference like?

Thanks,

James

I've got a complete micron 4-1 it sounds great, looks nice just the lever to put the bike on the mainstand stands out a bit!

If you get one make sure you can change the filter Ok and it doesn't burn the fairing

Do you have any pictures of your ZX11 with the Micron on. If you have, please post both sides of the bike. Just curious to see how will it look without the stock. It just seems that this bike was made to look good with two pipes. They are heavy though!!!

I do understand what you are saying about the main stand. If I get a micron, I was thinking to take out the main stand because it will look a little bit funny!

Is the Micron loud? Does it stick out very high near the pegs compared to the stock pipe?

Thanks

I did put the Micron on my ZX11 and it looks and sounds great. There is one issue:

I get an air-leak where the canister connects. After calling Micron they told me to use RVT Silicon to fix the problem. Did you have any problems like that?

By the way, the dealer had a very hard time putting on the Micron. They had to take it out and put it back twice!!!

Thanks

You may get initial leaks but a bit of carbon seals them up. I didn' and don't - are your dealers a bit crap? I've taken mine on and off too many times and never a problem - just last week to fit a new center stand!! (caution if you want to take yours off - pipe off but you could fit it properly at the same time)

For me after having taken mine of is to tighten the bolt behind the oil filter tight, leave the two clamps and the bolt by the footpeg loose warm up the pipe a bit then tighten the collars.

This makes it easy to install and more importantly I broke the lug on the pipe by the oil filter by not doing this!!*

I am really happy with it, light, good power although my alloy looks a bit bad after 3 years, I'm not a frequent cleaner, plus i can put on my legal can if its test time!!

I'm just the opposite. I am deadset against the single pipe and prefer 4 into 2 (mainly for appearances). I know you get a bigger power gain from 4 into 1.

My problem is that I can't find a manufacturer that makes them (only 4:1's). I have a 93 ZX-11 C4 and if anyone out there knows of some 4 into 2's, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm looking for full headers, not slip on's. Thanks.
