How did that rear facing camera system ever pan out
for you?

I'm a big guy, and I find the mirrors, while better than
most sportbikes, to still be almost useless.

I'm seriously thinking of doing something similar to my
bike.

I'm trying to decide on what to use for a camera,
and how to avoid glare on the screen etc.

I know you tried this and then put the mirrors back
on.

Any thoughts on the system?
Tips?

Well the Video System works but it is not quite perfected. The LCD display I used is hard to see when the sun is shinning on it and there is a definate lack of dept perception. I still have it and I use it some times but for just getting out and riding, I still perfer the mirrors and put them back on from time to time. As far as being out on a ride again, well, I had to make another trip to Canada but I caged it and brought my wife this time<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

What camera did you end up using?
Color or B/W?
What is its angle of view?
What LCD screen?
What did you cover your mirror mounting holes with
when you had the mirrors off?
