bearing checked for loose/tightness, tire presures, that you have dialed in enough pre-load up front (take some out of the rear - 2-3 turns will do). All bikes do have a natural harmonic around 50 mph. The second something is out of wack, it will tell you.

All the new 2000 Zx-12r's tested when first released never had there suspension set up properly. I guess they (Kawasaki) never thought anyone one go faster than 75 mph!!!

ZX23rr told me to crank up my pre-load the first time we went riding together, it makes a big difference to the stability. It was a very good tip.

Somewhere around 40-50 mph indicated if I let go of the bars and sit up it will "wag" its head. Has done this since day #1 - new tire or old tire - doesn't matter. Bike is rock solid at all other speeds as long as the front tire is on the ground. Have taken it over 200 mph indicated a bunch of times and it is always solid.

Front tire "landings" at over 100 mph indicated get the front end upset on mine. Usually happens when the front tire touches down on some kind of irregularity in the pavement. Settles down after a second or two and hasn't put me down..... yet!!

I don't think this stuff is unusual. There are a lot of steering dampners sold for the 12R for a reason!!

thanks red my bike only does it around 50-60 mph
i guess i need to play with setings rebound at 5 clicks
compression at 5 clicks perload 4 lines showing i am 240 lbs
my zxr1100 no shake at any speed 0 -130mph

It could be a number of things. I'd change shops and get them to fix the problem. I had a bad wobble/shakes around 90 or 100 on my old CBX 1000. I had dropped the engine to do some carb. work. I didn't torque the engine fasteners in the proper sequence and torque values. The engine was an integral frame member. The Honda shop said that was my problem. When I retorqued all the fasteners in the right sequence, the bike ran perfect up to about 130. Who would have thought?

From day one had front end shake took it back to
dealer they checked front end and said the front tire was
bad they put a new one on but it still does it about 50 miles
ahour when you let go of bars they say it is the road they
are crazy has anybody had this problem

Had the same occuring , more pronounced under hard accel. and cornering, took it into the shop and they put in an " updated " bushing / washer / spacer from a '01 I think, never had a problem from then on out.. e-mail me if you need more info.

Also...your rear shock may be sagging too much and too soft...check for the stiffness!!!

With the rear soft it squats under acceleration causing the front to get light...
