We was having some trouble with the GSXR 1000 bottoming out in the front... Scott with GMD told us to add 20cc's of fork oil... I didn't understand how that could stiffen it up more.... He explained that there would be less air in the forks to compress making it harder to compress with more oil.... I asked him since I am heavy if adding some could stiffen my front some and he said yes.. I am going to try it.... Anyone see any faults with this Idea??????

As a dirtbike rider, I can say fluid level is pretty important. If you've got the right setup with springs and are still bottoming, adding fluid will solve your problem. As Ddub said, don't over do it, add in small increments until it stops bottoming over the worst areas. Just my experience with dirtbikes, but I'm definitely no suspension genius!

I've done that from time to time. I think it help me pop some seals but I can't prove it.
