Cheers!

Well you can buy a new complete pump assembly for a ton of money, buy a used one on Ebay with the risk of it not working after a while... or just upgrade/redo the assembly in your bike using a Walbro342 type pump. You can buy the 342 pump at almost any car part store and the pump is not allot of money. Here is a link where I fitted a 342 pump into my bike.. Click on the link My ZX12R Winter 2019 Project and scroll down to post #54. Works great!

This won't work with B model fuel pumps as they have an in-tank FPR. If you can somehow figure a way to plumb it in line it might work. Chances are it is just your fuel filter (not the pump itself) witch unfortunately isn't available separately and isn't really serviceable. Try to back flush the filter with some carb/choke cleaner maybe will fix your problem temporary. I've seen some hyabusa pumps with almost identical design and they sell the filter separately but I'm not sure if its compatable, but may be worth a look.

Hi Mefirst, Rick here, I just read your post of the fuel pump fix. What model year bike did you do it on? My assembly looks different on my '02, Thanks, a very good job on the upgrade.
