I know there are several guys on here who have this

excellent product. My delimma is : After less than 4 months

of " use " the paint is already flaking off and both turn signal

lens' have fallen off.... I dont consider this a " wear " type item and I am one of more anal owners out there ( I wash the bike w. window cleaner spray type bottle and never ride in the rain, etc ) Has anyone else had this type of exper. with this product? Don't misunderstand, I get alot of looks and people asking where I got it.. etc...

Mine has been on less time than yours, but so far, no problems...looks like he uses a lot of hot glue for the wiring and lights...perhaps heat breaking down the glue he used?? So far the paint is fine.......but I'll be watching for anything now and be sure to let you know if any problems arise. Did you try calling them and discussing the problem?? Maybe they will do something for you.....

Are you using a hugger fender with the undertail??? Do you think the flaking is because of road debris?? I'm seriously considering one of these and your comments are the first negative ones I've heard (musta missed Jolt's comments). What color is your bike?? Can the turn signal lenses be put back in?? Have you talked with NinjaMan on BikeLand?? He has one installed on his red 12R and seems to be very satisfied. Please let me know if you get and what kind of customer support you get. Hate to hear that about the product because it is the best looking one out there IMHO.

SAFE4NOW,

I know it is human nature to get angry about any problems and start telling everyone who will listen.

But... in my experience with Robert and Graphic Art Moto Design he is a stand up guy and has done right by me.

I will be surprised if he doesn't do the same with you.

This is the first time that I have heard anything negative about Graphic Arts, and I will be interested to see how Robert rectifies this problem.

Give him a chance to reply to your issues before convicting him on an open forum.

JOLTMAN.. when you had your problems with Graphic Arts, did you contact Robert, and if so what was his reply?? What was your final outcome??

yes i do have a hugger, and the color of the under tail is green and the funny thing is that the color doesn't even match. Its darker than the bike`s color. I haven`t tried to contact him due to some things that were going on in the past few weeks. I figured that he would probably say it was my fault or something along those lines, But to be honest i really haven`t dealt with that company too much so i cant tell you what they will say. sorry bout the real negative tude` towards vendors but thats been my luck lately.............

i really am not convicting him, I`m just telling what had happened to me. i don`t know him either way...all i heard was good stuff too.

....Joltman is 1,000% correct about the color match. I don't know what he adds to his paint that makes it so much darker, but mine is MUCH darker than my green 2000 also. Actually....not even close,but...luckily it is underneath and you really can not tell. Off the bike in sunlight....Stevie Wonder can see the difference. I am praying my turn signals stay in their sockets and have no ill comments w/ mine as of yet...but the color match is definitely not going to receive an A grade. If more than 1 person has signals popping loose he must have a design flaw he needs to correct. All of us that bought this hacked our bike's up to do it.....so, it sure as hell better last.

I did not mean to come across as " convicting " , instead I was trying to "sandwich" ie" positive comment, problem, then end w/ positive.. I am just waiting on the final positive before closing this post. And, as we are seeing many of us have bought and are having the same issues, so i dont go off half cocked w/ my complaint. If I were the only one, then I could say that I was somehow the problem.

No hugger, yet.. C/F on the list very soon, RED does not match, more like pink, but close enough under the tail that it doesnt show too bad ( besides eveyone is busier looking at my new flames ) and if I had the lens' yes they probably could be replaced.. but I have no idea where they went.

Maybe the hugger wasnt speed tested in excess of 180+

and its just the speed thats popping the lens' and peeling the paint? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> ( kidding )

seriously - I am just asking the " guys " if I am the only one

given the choice, I would buy again.

Ok, Robert called today and wanted more information about the failure(S) , upon which he imediately offered to send me a replacement panel. I told him that all I really needed was the lens' and if he would send those out to me I would be happy. So, as promised, I am posting to show an example of EXCELLENT customer service and a person backing up his product!!!

nothing but praise for Robert D !

p.s. anyone else having issues should let him know via e-mail

on his web site so he can track any other issues. He said

out of a thousand he has sent out, maybe 3 have " failed "
