I was thinking 4 day trip, Thursday though Sunday, But if you could come two day's three day's or as many as you want we would be there.
They just repaved it. Brand new asphalt. I've been looking all summer around Southern Ohio for a newly paved road, With no luck.
We need to set a date that everybody that want's to go can come Look's like the weekend of the 14/15 is the only one causing a problem for anybody so far.
The weekend of the 21/22 is a fullmoon, Ya can see the critter's in the wood's comming for ya, While your pissing on the tree.
We can set the weelkend of the 21/22 in stone if no one object's?
I'll get there, Eairly on September 19 and stay till the 22nd late.
Hotel/Camping/Cabin's? next question
If Jessie Jame's had a ZX12R I'd ride with him.

·I can go just about any time in September, as long as I know in advance by about a week and as long as I can get the damn front wheel off to put new feet on....(see my "Front Wheel Woes" post).

If you have the option.. a trip during the week would most likely bring about much less crowded roads and considerably less police looking specifically for Bikes runnung the Gap..
The local police in Blount County are doing their best to discourage the crazies on bikes.. There have been a couple fatalities and multiple wrecks with the riders sustaining critical injuries..
The bottom line is the Law is out Hot and Heavy on the weekends looking to make examples of Bikers..
I have lived in this area for 17 years and this is the most agressive I have ever seen it towards bikes..
When ever you come be aware the Law will be watching. Especially on the weekends..

greatest place in the ENTIRE world to ride!!!!!
Some banks are 45 degrees!!! You can literally corner
and have the bike horizontal!!!! When you ride the Gap
hard, the sweat will be pouring from out of your
helmut...a combination of waaaaay toooo much adrenelin
gushing through your veins, scream ing your lungs out
as you attack the next turn, better than ANY orgasm
know to man!!!!
If you ever want to live on the edge, you owe it to
yourself to beg, borrow, plead, steal, lie, cheat, do
whatever to get you and your bike to the Gap...it's
in North Carolina, and it's a must do.
Once it gets in your blood, it will become a personal
vendetta, it must be attacked and slain EVERY year,
several times over, and if you haven't given blood to
the dragon, you haven't fought hard enough!!!!
To my brothers in the blood of the dragon, I salute you!
