The Mojave Magnum Mile was this weekend at the Mojave Air & Space Port about 150 miles North of me. A Corvette buddy of mine went and hit 189 in the mile and 201.4 in the 1.5 mi, in his C7 Z06 - I wasn't able to take mine to see what it would do. He only got two runs in before a rider on an H2 lost control and did not survive. Really hope it wasn't anyone here. I haven't found any news articles regarding the crash online yet.

On the ninjah2.org site it has been mentioned, at this stage doesn't look like anyone from there. Seems whoever it was had experience at that kind of event but for some reason didn't slow down in the shut off area after the 1.5 mile section?

Either way a very sad thing to happen.
