There has been a few posts recently about the quality of the Hans products as it pertains to the bolt alignment. Before I spend the money on a rear hugger/chain guard, fuse covers and air duct covers, I was wondering if anyone has recently received any of these pieces and how the fit and install was. I really don't want to buy $500 worth of CF and have problems. One other quick question, how long does it take to have these products delivered to the door?
Thanks for the help!

I bought the air duct covers and the fuse cover and the hardest thing was getting hold of Hans. Once I did get with him, my stuff was delivered in less than a week. The quality is second to none but I did have to work with getting the screw holes aligned properly. I think it looks good but if I had to do it all over again, I'd have to think twice about it. It's not a slam against Hans but just wasn't what I thought it would be once I got it on the bike.

I ordered the fuse box cover today & if it resembles the picture I'll be satisified. I'd like to match up my fuse box & tank pad with the 02 dash.

I am inclined to belive that if I had received a bad fitting item from anyone I'd take it to the source for resolution & if not corrected then perhaps not refer them.

I bought Han's CF ash tray and hugger over a year ago. The quality was superb. Fit was slightly off. Got the stuff in 1 week.

I called Hans and got him on his lunch hour -- AT LUNCH! He talked with me briefly, recorded my order and I received the well packaged goods in about a week. Yes, I did have to open the back right bolt hole a small bit. But HANS is a stand up guy and I am ABSOLUTELY pleased with his quality and the Cf shows no wear at all (not even the buckle guard) -- its as nice as the day it was delivered.

Hans really does make superior Carbon Fiber parts..I have everything he makes for the 12 except for the Monster Snorkel..
Everything except for the Hugger fits great.. I have heard numerous people complain about the fit of the Hugger..And this included myself.
There must be a problem with his jig for drilling the holes once the Hugger is complete.. Almost every post I have read complains about this same problem..
The strange thing is Hans has to know there is a problem with the hole placement. There are quite a few members who have informed him of this issue.. Including myself..
Having said this if my bike was stolen I would buy more Carbon Fiber from Hans.. It really isn't a big deal to make the Hugger fit correctly.. But it is a bit frustrating when you pay a premium price for a product and the mounting holes are not drilled in the appropriate spot...
