I have heard a few good things about BMC, however I would like to hear more.

I got them when I went full Akro. They look real quality but big bucks $$$$$$

They are very good filters as they really do flow a large volume of air. Very popular with the production based racers who use them because of this. A lot of racing cars also use them.
My own concern would be the filtration factor and how much road crap will they catch?? (or not). Racers are not worried about this as they don't use their bikes daily.
If it is outright power then, they are as good if not better than K&N, but I know K&N are OK on the road.
