After loggin in per Easy's instructions, and changing your password you will get a confirmation e-mail

Click on the link from your confirmation e-mail...

It will open another screen....

Now, look at the address for the site...

You need to delete one of the http://

There is two of these in the address.
I deleted it, hit go, and BAM I have been activated

This should work for everybody...

In my confirmation e-mail my link looks like this....

See it starts with http:/ / then http:/ / again.....

delete on of these and it will work..

I had to add some spaces for demonstration purposes <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I think I have that fixed.

Can anyone who tries to log in to the phpBB2 forum let me know if you have an extra "h_ttp://" in your confirmation link. (take out the _ but if I don't have that in it will not show up.

Everyone who tried to change your password from the default "password" before I just changed the board screwup needs to take out the extra "h_ttp://" (remove the _, I just used that so it would show up in the post) in their confirmation email. If you don't confirm when you change your password your username will be inactive.

It is fixed now for anyone trying to change their password for the first time or register. You only have to remove the "ht_tp://" if you tried to register earlier.

Let me know if this fixes your problems. I can always manually fix up any of the people how tried while I had it configured wrong.

Remember: This is just a test setup, it is not ready to switch to permanently. It is just a test to iron out the bugs, like what you are having.

If you are registered on the EZboard forum (which is still the main forum) and you want to help test out the bugs on this forum (it is not ready to transfer over yet, trust me) then go into your profile and rename your password "password" to something else so no one else can take your name over. You should get a confirmation email , just make sure there isn't 2 sets of "htt_p://" at the front (ignore the _ but I had to put it in to make it appear in this post).
Click on the confirmation link in the confirmation email and you should be fine. Forward me the confirmation link if it doesn't work.
And don't forget to re-login after changing your email.

I hope this helps, but if you can't get in, don't worry, I am still working things out.
