Can I assume that "Chicken Strips" are what we more commonly refer to as "Hero Knobs" in the land of Aus?

If so, my LHS is nicely worn but the RHS is as smooth as!

na, gk12r....yer chicken strips is the outer edge of yer tyres that remain unscuffed if you aint been getting yer knee down!!!

Believe me, you'll need race tyres if you want to scratch yer hero knobs....i tried scratching them on OEM 207's at my local track and ended up binning it!!!!

I easily get to the edge of the rear tire.I'd like to see a front with no strips. The lowers on my 12 are wearing through! There are a couple of nice twisty roads near my home that I push my luck on.Just put a new rear on,going out tomorrow to scrub 'er in.

there is a long left bank around here that you can enter at about 100 and get up to about 120/130. Definitely worthy of removing all strips of poultry....
