Well now I've gone and done it... I swear, all I went to the dealer for today was a can of chain lube.

He's had this PMB '02 sitting on his floor for about two months now, and each time I've gone in there, she's just been looking at me, calling my name...

"Look at me."

"Sit on me."

"You want me, I know you do."

Long story short: cash talks, my bank is open on Saturdays, and well, she's MINE now... Sweet...

So, to all you '02 / former '00 or '01 owners, just how much better is she? I've read all the articles just like everyone else, but nevermind the magazine bullshit - just how much happier am I going to be for the rape and pillage of my RSP account earlier today...??

Oh yeah, I now own two bikes, and would desperately like to get rid of one. It would be of great service to my marriage... '00, red, 9800kms (6100 miles), bone stock, and in immaculate shape. Conisdering the current state of the used 12 market, would something with a 6 as the first of the four digits get it out of my garage and into yours, or your buddys, or that guy's that you know who has a friend who wants one...??

Looking forward to hearing from the '02 owners, and anyone seriously intersted in the '00, or who knows anyone who might be, please feel free to post a response here, or email me at [email protected]

ditto, I have a friend in maryland looking. I sold my 00 on yahoo classifieds in 2 weeks for $8300 completely stock, you may want to rethink your price. However, I did sell it at the beginning of the season. I'm mostly into drag racing so can't speak much for handling but definitly like the fit and finish better.

The 02 PMB has special cam's and piston's to make it the fastest ZX12R ever produced.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Let's keep that rumor going<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I might know someone depending on your location? Interested in the red 00,

If Jessie Jame's had a ZX12R I'd ride with him.

Sorry guys, I forgot to mention I'm in Canada - Toronto to be exact. So it's a 2000 Canadian model, if that makes it any better (I've heard that it does, and I've heard that it doesn't)

I can easily bring the bike to meet someone at any of the following border crossing points - Niagara Falls (Buffalo, NY), Windsor (Detroit, MI), or Sarnia (Port Huron, MI). I work for an Expedited Freight company, so I could also have the bike crated and shipped to anywhere in North America (for a fee of course...)

WarDawg / Safe4Now / mooerss - would either one of the above work for your potentially interested contacts?

I will take a whole bunch of digital pics of the bike later today, for those who might want them... Again, my email address is [email protected]

Hey BBB, great job by you!!!! When you're 60 years old,
you'll look back and have no regrets for just "going for it".

I was like that when I was younger...48 now, and still
crazy...but I look back over things that other people
say was stupid or whatever (like selling the old bike 1st),
but nope, not me...I just go for it!!! No regrets!!!

I have an '02 PMB (black/blue) and I love the damn
thing...I let only my very best friend ride it and two
days later he bought the '02 and sold his ZX-9 later.

Good luck...

Like a kid at Christmas...

Well, if all goes according to plan, I'll be picking her up tomorrow... Man, I can hardly wait... :D

The '00 is still for sale, so:

Safe4Now - you've got mail (coming...)

mooerss - where in Maryland is your friend located?

WarDawg - where is the someone you might know located?

I had one offer today, but I guess the guy decided he wanted to play "low-ball" as opposed to "ball", so I appreciate the possible leads guys...

Thanks,

Scott

I rode an 02' on the foothills parkway down at the Gap last week and this is what I have to say. It, of course is an excellent bike, seating postion is a little different, the bike I rode's suspension was not suited for me as it was quite soft but it handled pretty damn good. As far as power? I dunno, my 2000 hits much harder, prolly cause of the elipticle trottle cable cams on the 02'. But they are really close. Great bikes the both of em'.
