I was sitting here (as you do), wondering how the rest of you guys ride, i.e. How often do your 12's see the light of day.

I must admit I'm a weekend warrior, using my 12 only at weekends, and across the border in Spain, as I live and work within a 1 mile distance, (I walk to work).

Another main reason is that Gib is not the ideal place to enjoy a ZX12R, measuring only 1 1/2 miles x 3 miles and with a 50km speed limit, get my drift!

I used to use my bike as my main form of transportation. Rain or shine and as a weekend warrior <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:"> ), but after my second baby girl was born and my first boy bieng four I have no time to ride during the week or on weekends.

I have to plan my rides at least two weeks in advanced.

Thank goodness my in-laws love thier grandchildren or I wouldn't be able to get out at all. HAHAHAHA

In 2002 I may have to give up daily and weekend riding and start track days. One track day can hold me for a MONTH. I think, I hope.

ANYONE WANT TO BUY A 12-R, ANYONE ?

My 12 is my only form of transport. I cover about 15,000 miles a year. Even with the crap U.K Weather. I also do track days, drag racing and at least a couple of continental tours a year.

As much as I can, work is 20 miles away, so if I take the bike I can spend longer in bed!! and get to work with a grin on my face!! Not to mention looking forward to the trip home.

Life can be good some times!

I started a motorcycle club here in central Indiana, and when it is not cold or raining we average atleast 50 miles a night and 3 or 4 hundred miles every weekend and probably an hour or so of bullshitting everynight!!!!

Every single day, rain or shine. Just had a my first child so it does cut into my riding a little, but I still find ways to take the long way home. I live 1 mile from a store and no matter what, I take the bike when something is needed. Occasionaly I take the old beemer or triumpth out but generaly I am in a rush.....like a 175 H.P. rush.

Every day (or nearly,) as it's my main form of transport, and what a way to go. The local constabulary doesn't like me much, but that's the price you pay for having fun! At least I'm riding with a smile on my face unlike a lot of the car drivers over here

Keep it black side down!
