I should have done this a long time ago.

Please post any information about hosts that will allow you to store your pictures on the internet. You will need to find a host for your pictures so you can link to them in EZboard. Once you have your pictures on the hosts website you can right click and select properties to find the URL (address for the picture). You then need to use the correct EZboard codes around that address in your message to make the picture appear.

If you look to your left when you are entering in your message you will see a section titled "How To" Under that you will see "Post A Link" and "Post An Email" Click on "Post a Link" and scroll down a bit until you see "How to Make an Image within a Post" follow the instructions.

Basically you need to do the following {image}www.picturehostwebsitename.com/yourpicURL.jpg{/image} except you replace the { and } with the same direction square brackets. If I used the square brackets (same key without the shift key being held down) EZboard would think I was trying to post a picture and would not show the text.

When you post the names of picture hosting websites please enter the following information if you have it:

- the website link to the picture Host

- Is the Host free? If not how much?

- Is there a limit to how many pictures can be hosted, if so how much?

- Can the pictures be linked to and viewed outside of the Hosts website, some places like Imagestation seem to be limiting this for the free services.

Thank you, and lets try to keep this thread updated with new information.

MY ISP here in San Diego is Cox Cable. I have their High Speed internet service. The cost is 29 a month because I bought the who package (Cable, Digital Cable, Digital Telephone, Internet). My job requires I be available 24/7 via pager, so they pay for the internet.

But more to the point. Cox gives with the internet service free web page hosting. I can put up to 70MB of content.

The only catch is you need to create your own web pages.

So check with your ISP and see if they offer free web space.

If you need help with creating web pages. Just ask. I noticed a lot of Savvy people in this forum. Myself included.

Is frontpage free.... not that I'm cheap, but.... I'm cheap. I've got parts to buy you know.

I also use macromedia. But it is a bit pricy, and not for beginners. I hated front page. The rep on cool page was it was easy for beginners, and you get a full copy to try out. Plus the price to buy is reasonable.

To chime in late here, you can always send an email to [email protected] and I will host your pics for you. For references, check out TRC51's threads regarding his undertail and pics.
