It is finally time to pack up the laptop, load tons of work onto it and head for a vacation <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT="">



I will be leaving tomorrow morning for Hornby Island www.hornbyisland.com/



It is a great little out of the way place in BC on the West Coast. A cabin (not on the beach) is about $350 U.S. /week, if you cook your own food it is an awesome not very expensive holiday.



Nothing but sand, sun, water and good food. The only think missing would be a 2 mile flat straight stretch with no onroads and a Laguna seca type section of new road and my 12. But that is not the case. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT="">



I will be checking in on my emails at work on a 1-2 day basis. Don't get bummed out if I don't respond to my emails at home for awhile. I get so many emails per day from the site that dealing with them on holidays is most likely not possible, but I will see.

Have a good time. The wife and I went to Saltspring Island a couple of years ago for a long weekend at a B&B and it was about the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. She says she wishes she was going to Hornby!

Damn, I wish I was going on vacation somewhere for 3 weeks but I'd I don't know if my house would survive me being gone that long AND I'd have to take my 125 lb Akita with me!!! I'm sure you will have a wonderful time, from the photos on the site, looks like a great place to vacation!!



I am going to the Outer Banks NC for a week on the 17th for some beach fun with the extended family (mother, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew). It will be kind of like a mini family reunion. I won't be taking the 12 but I'll be taking the bicycles. I can't wait because the place we are renting is suppose to be top notch with all the amenities (a lot nicer than my meager domicile!!!): 8 bed rooms, 7 baths, private walkway to the beach, pool, hot tub, rec room.

Well I am back, and it was great.

After hanging at the beach for 3 weeks in the sun and swiming in the ocean every day it makes you rethink life and the daily grind.

Now I just need to dig my way out of the emails. If I don't get back to you for awhile it is because I have a few hundred emails to go through.
