I currently use PJ1 Blue. I do experience a bit of sling-off with it. It's supposed to be PJ1's product specifically designed for O-ring chains. Based on that my assumption is that PJ1 Black is designed for non O-ring chains. However, the article states that the manufacturer (PJ1) claims that the Black is O-ring safe.
I think that I'll try the Black (so long as the can states that it is O-ring safe). The Torco stuff seem to have interesting results as well, especially in sling-off. The black equaled or bested the Torco in all test except sling-off. If the Black proves to have adequate sling-off resistance than I think I'll go with it. Besides the PJ1 Black is available about every where you go.
It won't require much improvement over the Blue in sling-off performance to meet my requirements. I've found that the sling-off of the Blue depends on how you apply it. If you make sure that the chain is warm and you don't over-apply it then sling-off is greatly reduced, but not eliminated.
