Hey guys, I've been lurking for a few days now while I tried to decide on what would be my next bike. I put some cash down today on a '02 blue ZX-12R, riding it home next week. Looks like you have a great site. Here's my other interest, it's a 2001 Dodge 3500 CTD making 450 RWHP on #2 alone. Holset HX-40 Turbocharged with a 16cm housing, wastegated at 45 psi's, which I reach easily in 5th gear ( it's 6 speed). Here's a pic., looking forward to getting the bike and being a kid again.

Thanks for the warm welcome ! As for a turbo on the 12...sorry. Currently saving for the truck, looks like she's having twins next year. Hmmmm....think a slightly used very large Holset will fit on the 12 ?!?

Man, this site is just like the TDR <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/glasses.gif ALT="8)"> . What do y'all call bike mods. here ? When referring to our 4 ton Vette's, we call it BOMBing, which means ' Better Off Modified, Baby' .

238... AWESOME RIDE ! How much RWHP you making ?

MiKlos... glad to see another TDR member on this board. I hoped I would,as we are all speed freaks.

IwasBlitz... sooooo, what does a 17 Toof sprocket do for me ?

CrotchRocket... I'm in NWNJ, about 20 minutes from High Point State Park.

TainuiNYC...been there, done that and got the T-shirt. I had HP mods. in my hands for the truck before the damn thing was even built. Warranty smarranty.

What about air filters, assuming the stocker is a choker. What are you guys running... K+N, AFE, other ? Same question on exhaust, again, assuming it's a choker.

I feel at home already. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Cool, thanks for the info Farm Boy. I'll start doing some searches here so I don't ask too many questions on topics that have already been covered.

Disregard

Alright, I give up. What does it take to post the avator pic. under your user name ? I tried about all that I know, which I guess isn't much.

CrotchRocket, thanks, that helps tons. I'll check out that url you listed for parts. That's pretty decent if they don't void your warranty for power upgrades, ain't that way with DC. We make the bulk of our HP through huge injectors and fueling boxes. They have to pull the valve cover at a minimum to check the injectors, they usually don't. The fueling boxes are a different matter. The require you to tap into the injection pump wire, which leaves a small prick ( no pun intended). If they spot that mark on the pump wire, your drivetrain warranty is toast. Don't matter much though because most of the dealerships suck and only make matters worse. Hoping it isn't that way for bike shops. The guys I bought the bike from have been in business for many years now. Everyone I know that has dealt with them says their service is A+. I'd hate to buy the extended warranty and have them void it for performance mods. if I had a problem. I plan on doing the bulk of the work myself. With guidance from you guys, of course.

DOH !!!! 2000 miles is killing me. At best I have 3 months of riding to accomplish that task. I'll give you a shout later. Don't count me in any rides for awhile as I play Mr. Mom to my youngest 5 days a week and the weekends are filled with soccer games for both my girls. The most I will get is an hour each morning to ride, while my youngest is in AM kindergarden. If y'all can come up with a date, I will do my best, but don't plan it around me.
